Miles for Melanoma is a rain or shine 5K event. The safety of our participants and attendees are our top priority and on-site MRF staff will make the call to delay an event start time or cancel an event-on-event day. This information will be communicated to all registered participants on event day via email.
The zoo offers parking in 3 designated parking areas. This includes the front entrance (Zebra Entrance), a parking lot off Circuit drive and the back entrance of the zoo (Giraffe Entrance). Click here for a map of the zoo grounds. Please enter through the Giraffe entrance.
All in-person attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the 5K event. The MRF team will provide information to the public regarding the venue’s recommended parking locations, if applicable.
Pets are not allowed on Zoo grounds to protect the health and safety of the animals and your pets. Fully trained service dogs trained to perform specific tasks are allowed.
