The cure for melanoma begins with me

Melanoma is the deadliest and fastest-growing form of skin cancer.  For me, this fight is personal. My grandfather was recently diagnosed with melanoma and is currently undergoing radiation and immunotherapy treatment. Watching someone you love face this disease head-on changes you. It fuels you. It makes every mile mean something.

I work at a dermatology office, and I see firsthand how often melanoma goes undetected until it's advanced. I see the fear in patients' faces. I also see the relief when it's caught early — when there's still time. That's why I know better than most: early detection saves lives.
