Please support my fundraising efforts for the Melanoma Research Foundation!
The cure for melanoma begins with me.
For the past two years, I’ve been dealing with skin cancer, including melanoma. I’m incredibly grateful mine was caught early. But that didn’t happen by chance. It happened because of research that existed long before my diagnosis, giving me a better path forward.
That same research is why I’ve recently gone through genetic testing, trying to understand why I’ve had so many spots. Every step of my journey has been shaped by advancements made possible through funding and awareness.
That’s why I’m walking in Chicago, even though I live near Detroit. It’s the closest opportunity for me to contribute to a cause that means so much to me! Melanoma research matters to me because it impacts my future, and it could impact yours or someone you love.
Melanoma is the deadliest and fastest growing form of skin cancer and we all want a cure to be found soon. Miles for Melanoma is the way people come together to take action and help support this fight and the mission of the Melanoma Research Foundation.
Every step matters and every step counts. Significant advancement has been made in the past few years in improved detection, new drug treatments and better survival rates. This progress has been built on the breakthroughs made fighting other types of cancers, as well as the existing foundation of melanoma research.
If you’re able, please consider donating. Together, we can help create more early detections, better treatments, and stronger outcomes.
Step up and donate to Miles for Melanoma today.
