The cure for melanoma begins with all of us!

Fifteen years ago I was diagnosed with ocular melanoma and have since joined the MRF Board of Directors with a mission to help find a cure.​

Significant advancement has been made in the past few years in improved detection, new drug treatments and better survival rates.  Medical research is at a critical juncture, with significant cutbacks under various US governmental bills.  As we look to fund more life-saving initiatives, I hope you, your families and friends will consider joining me for:

10-12pm Freedom Boat Club Boat Rides**

**Following the race, please join me for a Freedom Boat Club (FBC) at Diversey Harbor, Dock A (2601 N Cannon Dr).  Brunswick is the parent company to FBC and I've arranged for a few premium boats to be at the dock, including Brunswick Boat Group's Boston Whaler Vantage 280, Sea Ray 250 & 270 Surf (wake boats!) and Harris HCX23 Tritoon. We will have a sign-up reservation system this year, and you can sign-up at the race.

The energy, enthusiasm and encouragement from patients, survivors, families, friends, caregivers, and the medical community impacts many lives and many futures.
