Every dollar raised to support a cure for melanoma is a tribute to Shane's memory. 

Ten years ago we lost Shane following his courageous battle against melanoma. For more than a decade we have been participating in the MRF Miles for Melanoma 5k as Team Shanespiration to support research and to champion Shane's memory. This year we want to make a splash in honor of the 10 year anniversary of his passing and we're incredibly grateful for any way you can show up to support - walking, running, and raising money to invest in research. 

For anyone in Chicago, we'd love to see you all out on 7/19/26 at Diversey Harbor supporting the MRF community and honoring Shane and all he taught us in his 35 years. Don't forget your sunscreen!
