In Memory of My Dad - Miles for Melanoma
I’m participating in Miles for Melanoma in memory of my dad, who we lost to melanoma when I was just 16 years old. Losing him at such a young age shaped so much of who I am, and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him.
For years, I’ve taken part in this event to honor his memory and to help raise awareness about a disease that takes too much, too soon. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer—and one of the fastest growing. It’s something that deserves more attention, more research, and ultimately, a cure.
I know these are challenging times for many, and there are so many worthy causes to support. That makes me even more grateful for any donation, big or small, and for anyone who takes a moment to read and share this.
Supporting Miles for Melanoma means funding critical research, promoting early detection, and helping prevent other families from experiencing this kind of loss.
Thank you for being part of this with me, and for helping me honor my dad in a meaningful way.
