Support our Karen's Crusader's Fight Against Melanoma
The cure for melanoma begins not only with me and my family, but with all of us. Melanoma is the deadliest and fastest-growing form of skin cancer. For many, it’s a statistic. For our family and friends, it’s very personal.
My husband, Ryan, is a melanoma survivor. His survival is tied to the groundbreaking clinical trial he participated in at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Because of research, innovation, and the willingness of patients to step into the unknown, he was given more time — more birthdays, more memories, more ordinary days that we now cherish in extraordinary ways.
Not every story ends that way. Our dear friend Karen recently passed away after her battle with melanoma. She fought with courage, strength, and grace, and her loss is a heartbreaking reminder that while progress has been made, we are not finished yet.
That is why we support Miles for Melanoma and the mission of the Melanoma Research Foundation. Every step matters. Every step counts.
In recent years, we have seen significant advancements in early detection, innovative drug treatments, and improved survival rates. These breakthroughs are saving lives — including Ryan’s. They are built on years of research, collaboration, and the generosity of those who believe a cure is possible.
The energy and commitment of patients, survivors, families, caregivers, researchers, and supporters truly make a difference — not only for those fighting today, but for future families who deserve better outcomes.
Please consider stepping up and donating to Miles for Melanoma. Together, we can move one step closer to a cure.
