The Cure for Melanoma Begins with Us

Melanoma is the deadliest and fastest-growing form of skin cancer. While tremendous progress has been made in early detection, innovative treatments, and improved survival rates, there is still more work to do.

With deep sadness, I share that in January we lost our dear Gail Welsh after her courageous battle with Stage 4 melanoma. Gail was a truly special woman who touched my life and the lives of so many people I care about. She faced her diagnosis with extraordinary strength, grace, and determination. Her spirit continues to inspire all of us.

Team Gail Force will continue to participate to honor Gail and all other patients who endure this devastating disease, while raising funds to support the critical research needed to end it. Every step we take and every dollar raised brings us closer to better treatments and ultimately, a cure. The energy and support of patients, families, caregivers, researchers, and friends truly changes lives.
