Miles for Melanoma: Stomp Out Cancer One Step at a Time
Why You Will See Me Stomping
One of my closest friends, someone I love like a little sister, was diagnosed with melanoma in September 2024. It was a shocking moment for all of us, especially for someone so young and previously healthy at just 29 years old.
Thanks to the incredible work of the Melanoma Research Foundation and the care of her San Diego medical team, she has been fighting with everything she?s got to stomp out this cancer. Every day with her feels like a gift, and her strength continues to amaze me.
I'm honored to serve as co-captain of the team she created, Mel-uh-no more, and the rest of us are proudly walking beside her every step of the way. We are raising funds so MRF can keep pushing forward by improving early detection, advancing new treatments, and helping survival rates climb even higher.
Stomping for a Mission
Miles for Melanoma is a project to support the Melanoma Research Foundation in their mission- To eradicate melanoma by accelerating medical research while educating and advocating for the melanoma community.
