Every Step in Honor of Tracy
How many steps will it take to find the cure for Melanoma?
Our family was forever changed for the better when Tracy Timmons entered our lives in 2004. She was one of our dearest friends, and a mother figure to our children. We were wrecked when we lost her to melanoma in January 2022. The light in this world has dimmed since she left it.
Melanoma is the fastest growing and deadliest skin cancer. Significant advancement has been made in recent years to improve detection, provide new drug treatments and offer better survival rates. But there is still so much more to be done.
That is why our family will be walking on September 15th. We are going to help make a difference in research, treatment, care, awareness, and so many other areas that will move us closer to the day we can say that melanoma has been defeated.
We can't ever bring our dear friend Tracy back, but we can fight to ensure that someday no one will experience what she and her family had to endure.
Step up and donate to Miles for Melanoma today.
