We're walking in memory of an incredible man — my dad, Dave. He was the kind of person who showed up for everyone else, no matter what. A proud Italian-American, a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a die-hard Mets fan through every season, Dave lived life with passion, pride, and purpose.

Dave served as a police officer for 25 years, dedicating his life to protecting and helping others. Even after he retired, that spirit never left him. He was the guy who checked in, showed up, and helped without hesitation — because that's just who he was. His personal motto was “Service Over Self,” and he truly lived by it.

He battled Ocular Melanoma for 12 years with relentless strength and quiet courage. Through surgeries, treatments, and setbacks, he kept living — traveling to Italy (his favorite place), spending time with family, and never letting cancer define him. He lived fully and fearlessly, right to the end.

We formed Team All for Dave because we carry his name and legacy with us — in our hearts, our steps, and our mission. We're here to raise awareness for this rare cancer, support ongoing research, and honor the life of someone we’ll never stop loving.
