Please support my fundraising efforts for the Melanoma Research Foundation!
Join me in celebrating 2 years of being cancer free.
I have "argued" with skin cancer since 2011, but in May of 2023 I received my first diagnosis of melanoma. Thankfully due to my diligence in getting my skin checked, we caught it at the very early stages. A week after the diagnosis, I had minor surgery to remove the tumor and needed no further treatment other than regular 3 month skin and lymph checks for the last 2 years. This May I celebrate 2 years being cancer free and get to graduate to skin checks every 6 months instead of 3! I'm celebrating by run/walking a Miles for Melanoma 5K in August! Help me celebrate by donating to help find a cure today.
The cure for melanoma begins with me.
Melanoma is the deadliest and fastest growing form of skin cancer and we all want a cure to be found soon. Miles for Melanoma is the way people come together to take action and help support this fight and the mission of the Melanoma Research Foundation.
Every step matters and every step counts. Significant advancement has been made in the past few years in improved detection, new drug treatments and better survival rates. This progress has been built on the breakthroughs made fighting other types of cancers, as well as the existing foundation of melanoma research.
There is more to be done and a long way to go, but the finish line is in sight. The energy, enthusiasm and encouragement from patients, survivors, families, friends, caregivers, and the medical community impacts many lives and many future.
Step up and donate to Miles for Melanoma today.
