We are participating in Miles for Melanoma in loving memory of Reg Good, who passed away on March 3, 2025, after battling metastatic melanoma.

Reg’s life was a testament to faith, love, and service. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, whose kindness, steady leadership, and joyful spirit touched everyone he met. His deep trust in the Lord gave him "perfect peace" even in the face of illness, and his legacy continues to inspire those who knew him.

Melanoma is a serious form of skin cancer that can spread quickly and is often diagnosed in its later stages, as it was with Reg. By walking in this event, we aim to raise awareness about melanoma, support research, and help provide resources to those affected by this disease. Our goal is to honor Reg’s memory by contributing to efforts that can save lives and bring hope to families facing similar battles.

Reg’s life reminds us to cherish every moment and to “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).

Melanoma is the deadliest and fastest growing form of skin cancer and we all want a cure to be found soon. Miles for Melanoma is the way people come together to take action and help support this fight and the mission of the Melanoma Research Foundation.

Every step matters and every step counts. Significant advancement has been made in the past few years in improved detection, new drug treatments and better survival rates. This progress has been built on the breakthroughs made fighting other types of cancers, as well as the existing foundation of melanoma research.
