Please support my fundraising efforts for the Melanoma Research Foundation!
My skin in the game.
I was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma at 24. After surgery and regular check ups, I hoped it was behind me. Then, two years ago, it came back.
That second diagnosis led me to genetic testing, where I found out I carry a rare cancer gene that increases my risk of several types of cancer, including melanoma. I've since joined a clinical trial at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where I get full body MRIs every two years, along with annual skin and eye exams to monitor for melanoma and other cancers.
This 5k is about raising awareness, supporting research, and contribute to better outcomes for others facing melanoma.
Join me and my melahomies as we walk for a cause that's personal and important. Help us walk toward better research, stronger outcomes, and skin that stays safe. Thanks for being apart of it
