The cure for melanoma begins with me.

Cathy's Angels will be gathering once again to participate in the Miles for Melanoma Walk to raise money in honor of our dear Cath. This will be our 7th Walk since 2017, the year Cathy lost her brave and bold battle against melanoma. During her illness Cathy participated in numerous clinical trials and brand new treatments in hopes of not only prolonging her own life, but also helping further advancements in melanoma treatment for others who would follow. We can think of no better way to honor Cathy's memory and spirit than to continue her fight by raising money for the Melanoma Research Foundation. We walk annually in different cities throughout the United States to honor our friend, recognize her perseverance and strength, and to celebrate the love we have for Cathy and each other.
This year on November 10, fourteen members of the Cathy's Angels crew will gather in San Francisco to walk together. We would be deeply honored if you would help contribute to our fundraising goal. Since 2017 we have raised over $20,000 for the Melanoma Research Foundation. Can you help us bring our grand total to $25,000?!?

Melanoma is the deadliest and fastest growing form of skin cancer and we all want a cure to be found soon. Miles for Melanoma is the way people come together to take action and help support this fight and the mission of the Melanoma Research Foundation.

Every step matters and every step counts. Significant advancement has been made in the past few years in improved detection, new drug treatments and better survival rates. This progress has been built on the breakthroughs made fighting other types of cancers, as well as the existing foundation of melanoma research.

There is more to be done and a long way to go, but the finish line is in sight. The energy, enthusiasm and encouragement from patients, survivors, families, friends, caregivers, and the medical community impacts many lives and many future.
