Intermountain Spacetrain

On June 8th the Cancer Centers of Colorado, SJH and SurgOne are sponsors for this years Miles for Melanoma.

Our group is called "Intermountain Spacetrain".

You may ask, why call the group "intermountain Spacetrain?"  Ben Gaibel, LCSW who works as an Oncology Social Worker with Intermountain Health has a brother that passed from Metastatic Melanoma.  In Ben's words:

"Dan Gaibel passed away at the age of 45 to Metastatic Melanoma on March 30th, 2019. Dan grew up in the city of Chicago and spent most of his adult life in Ithaca, NY where he is survived by his wife and son.  He worked as the IT Manager for Cornell University's Language Resource Department for the last 18 years of his career.  He was an avid guitarist playing in a number of local bands, the most recent one being Spacetrain. Dan was known for his hilarious sense of humor, creativity, musical talents, amazing radio voice, gourmet cooking skills, and for being the best big brother anyone could possibly ask for."
